New Zealand 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Autobiography Santorini Black
Engine Stop Start Button

Hi

My Stop Start Button lettering well worn, just wondered if anybody's changed this switch and if it is possible just to get the switch out on it's own or if you have to remove that part of the dash and how much is involved.

Cheers

The switch can easily be removed it is held in by 2 folded clips on each side of the switch. The easiest way to remove it and not damaging the texture of the dash is to open your top part of glove box and carefully pull off the centre dash part it's only held in by 4 "push in style holding clips" don't pull it out too much as there is a tiny plug behind which is the power to your clock and switches etc. Once removed you can simply unclip the stop start switch and replace the switch. Plug the cable back in and gently push the dash part back into position it will click in.
I did see a new switch on eBay the other day. Thumbs Up

Thanks for the help Mark, managed to change the switch o.k. with no dramas. I had already picked up a new switch from local dealer's it was only twenty odd quid so not the end of the world.

Cheers

If you have a 2013 model, surely this will be under warranty?

For Twenty Odd quid it's not even worth the effort of trying to get it done under warranty.
