Welcome to the world of owning a RRS!!!

1 month in from purchasing our 2011 RRS HSE, looks like we'll be needing to claim on our warranty already!!

Luckily enough we got it from a main dealer with a 2 year warranty

Driving home today, with a quarter of a tank of diesel, 5 mins later the light comes on and shows the tank is empty, put £30 in and still showing empty! Sweet. Away next week visiting relatives, probably do about 1000 miles and haven't got a clue how far I will get on a full tank???

The wife has only been using it locally dropping the kids off at school etc, and the trip computer has been showing 27MPG, which seemed pretty good. Got a 5 hr journey mainly motorways coming up, what sort of MPG am I looking at, and how many miles am I looking at getting out of a tank??

Thanks in advance

John

No problem using it for the 5 hour journey. Just fill it up before you and fill it up again after 350 miles.

At least you got a month before you had an issue, mine lasted a couple of days before the suspension fault hit me.

Filled her up and done a 240 mile journey this morning, drove like a dream! But was telling me it was empty the whole way!

Managed 34 MPG cruising at 75 most of the way, very happy with that.

Question, how much does the tank hold? And how much of the tank is remaining?

Getting it sorted Friday

John
