Side step trim

Hi- the trim on one of my sidesteps has come away at the front- looks like the forward 3 rivets have rotted off. It's still holding on- is this recoverable?

Self tapping screws will do the job or get them riveted back on

One of mine fell off while i was parked up due to rotton rivets. I checked the other side and that was ready for falling off too. So i took it off as i didn't want it falling off while driving. I just replace both side steps.
