United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Autobiography Siberian Silver
Lack of decent supercharged RRS

Hi all,

Just bought a S/C RRS from dealers. They seem few and far between. Is this because they didn't make so many or because people hang on to them?

Thanks

Just spoken to the dealers, they reckon people keep hold of the SC, hence why so few around on forecourts. It's expected when new SVR is released next year a few more may come available.

I was lucky enough to be invited to the Supercharge launch at Gaydon when they came out and drove them on and off road plus experienced test track in the hands of an expert and I was blown away Bow down

I expect they sold in low numbers due to high running costs and depreciation - I heard stories of 1 year olds losing 50% of value Shocked

It would follow that many owners would buy them as second car for fun and keep them a while to avoid the depreciation Confused Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Still hoping for a S2 one day!

I think it may have something to do with 13mpg. Laughing Would not swap it for anything else. Thumbs Up

Cheers

I've never had it quite that low, had it down to 8 and up as high as 16mpg but what the hell you need a tyre lever to get the Grin off Your Face after giving it some stick Very Happy

Cheers

Well, I can tell you the new ones are better with fuel

Was on the autobahn this week, 162 showing on the speedo - 10mpg!

That being said, the whole trip averaged 24.3mpg so cannot complain with that. 2014.5 Mariana Black 5.0 Supercharged V8 Autobiography
