Front bumper upgrade to surround cameras

Well as Land Rover won't sell the silly spot welded mounting,

So got a damaged camera bumper for parts supply as Land a rover refuse without a whole bumper purchase Banging Head Ner Ner

So here we remove both the clearly marked sided mountings for use once I have machined the holes out on mine, Note slightly oval Shocked for hot gluing into my bumper once removed.

Now when did I do this before........ Whistle

So time for the camera mount removal, take out the front bezels

Then at the rear

Even marked what side they fit, the inner bumper has pilot hole dimple and fitting position all pre marked Razz None currently

Nice one!

are all the wiring harnesses in place for the camera's then or are you going to need those too?

and just out of interest is the camera IP or composite or some sort of proprietary system?

I have already bought a new front bumper loom with camera connections and cables

Rest of the car internally is wired, the actual bit from bulkhead to passenger wing to be checked👀

Then I need both front door, top of range looms, so new mirror carcusses can be fitted with also wade sensors system at the same time

Just because I can Razz None currently

Just as well as it would have been a waste. I have it on my FFRR, which came fitted as standard.

The camera/screen quality resolution of the TFT screen is very poor, its so blurry. Censored

The BMW Idrive unit is in a totally different league, so much faster and much better resolution/ screen quality. 2014 L405 SDV8 RR Autobiography Cool
