Branded ones aren't very good. Probably the old 3.6A model |

You're better off with a CTEK 5 Amp one (faster charging, much more sophisticated and available for about £50). |

In actual fact, CTEK recommend the 7 amp MX7 charger for large SUV's. I use this and it is considerably faster to charge the battery than the old MX5 which I had previously.

I use MXS10 (10 amp). Even faster charging and added benefit of 'supply mode'. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

I use the MXS 10 as well, I see Amazon have the MXS 7 at £89.00 which is a good deal had one previoulsy, perfectly adequate also has supply mode if I remember correctly.

Apologies for suggesting MXS 7 doesn't have supply mode. Either it didn't at the time I bought my CTEK or I compared 5 and 10 rather than 7 and 10 due to little price difference/better deal on MXS 10 back then. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top
