air con issue

Just had my air con regassed and to be honest when set to cold it doesn't actually feel that cold, any suggestions what to do next

Perhaps take it back to the workshop where it was regassed and check that they added the correct weight of refrigerant. Correct weight is printed on a sticker on the slam panel.

Then have the system pressure tested to see if there is a leak anywhere. Leaks are the most common cause of air con failure. Usual location of a leak is the condenser which is exposed to salt, rain and debris so corrodes or is punctured by a flying stone.

Second most likely cause of failure is a worn compressor so if no leaks suspect this as a cause. Other causes of failure can be hard to diagnose and it is best to find a specialist that just does air con and works on commercial systems.
