Hi all, have just purchased a 2010 tdv8 in grey. Love it, just needs some warranty work done next week. It has got me thinking to take an extended warranty however. The firm I have bought the car off have a warranty scheme the same as land rovers extended one (is backed up by care care plan), so it's all covered but with the usual wear and tear clause. Warranty direct have also offered me a 3 year deal.

The dealer is 1200 quid and the WD one is 2400. Quite a lot of difference and the dealer one includes recovery and mot cover. Am tempted to go for the dealer one, but have visions of a turbo blowing or gearbox crunching and getting told it's wear and tear.

Any advice from those who have been through it would be appreciated.
