On my 2006 RR sport the tailgate is stuck ,cant open either upper or lower. There seem to be no reaction /power in the locks when I try open it with the key or dasboard switch.The display says the tailgate is open.
I have read the treads about this problem but I have not managed to open it.
Where can I find the wiring diagram for this tailgate .
And where can I find the connector under the seat,how does it look like ,picture ? where I can put power directly to the locks and override the safety/locking mechanisme which I think have got into deadlock ? Range rover sport TDV6 autobiography 2014

Try manually forcing/pressing the tailgate down to lock position and see if the 'tailgate open' message disappears in the display. If it does you should now be able to unlock the tailgate the usual way. Malaysia Boleh!

Bobby, where have you been?

Not many of us old ones left now.

I have tried this and also press both dashboard switch for 30 econds and everything in the treads about this problem but no succes
But yesterday I disconneced the battery for 30 seconds and reconnected . Then the deadlock went away and the power to the latch mechanisme was back again and I could open the tailgate.
I undersatnd that if you try to open both upper and lower tailgate simultaneously this can happen with deadlock problem Range rover sport TDV6 autobiography 2014
