whats the difference? its got the auto soft close mechanism, which my wife doesn't understand and still slammed the boot shut this morning

Kaine - we dont have the button on the tailgate that you press and then the tasilgate shuts nice and slowly with out any noise or slamming = "softtouch" as you put it .
