I don't blame the poor sods on the phone - they're between a rock (disgruntled customers) and a hard place (profit-at-all-costs management). 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Just an update -

Lrcs replied that autoglass/land rover insurance are nothing to do with them so I guess the website and letterhead with LR logos etc were used without there permission

Land rover insurance were very sympathetic on the phone but words are cheap

Autoglass customer service have finally contacted me and apologised for the week and half of stress. They're refunding my excess for failed repair and waiving excess for replacement screen

They admitted that closing branches and using mobile services has not gone as smoothly as expected but working to sort it. I hope they do. After 5 weeks of waiting and chasing Autoglass they are now paying for me to have my car windscreen repaired by my dealer using JLR original .... Ludicrous....

Renewed my insurance on my M5 with BMW direct this year, insurance company said I could have a genuine screen fitted at my local main dealer with a £75 excess! No agro or hassle what so ever Muddy,I have just seen the bill for this all singing all dancing solar screen and trims with the labour at £990!!!!!
