United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Buckingham Blue

Thanks for that! They said two hours labour, hence £200 nc VAT!

Looks like I should find an indie to do it for me. Range Rover - 4.4SDV8 Autobiography - Corris and Black

United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

Interesting. Seems very surprising there are faults sufficiently serious to affect the handling in a way that makes the vehicle unsafe and yet no warning lights, bongs or messages on the dash?

Did they give you a report with the faults listed?

On no, course not that would be acting like a proper professional business and not a JLR franchise Censored

Think if it were me I would order new tyres from Camskill or another online vendor and then have them fitted by a good independent tyre specialist who could do the alignment too.

Clear the faults codes and then see if the car feels better and then recheck to see if the faults codes have come back. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

We did have an air suspension warning a few weeks back but it cleared when the engine was turned off. I would not buy the tyres from the dealer, already priced up online and £50 cheaper than the price the dealer quoted for Goodyear Excellence.

I am now being seduced by a new Range Rover, the dealer has two brand new unregistered FFRR for sale with £3-£4k off for quick delivery....... The man maths suggests it one way to solve the RRS suspension issue! Range Rover - 4.4SDV8 Autobiography - Corris and Black

Thought I'd keep this thread going. RRS is in the dealers today until early next week to have the suspension looked at and for four wheel alignment. I was advised to change the front tyres to get my money's worth from the alignment (fronts at 3-4mm) but I didn't bother in the end. We do such low mileage that it seemed such a waste, and I will not be keeping the car for that long. Hopefully air suspension issues will be adequately sorted and covered under the approved warranty.

As an aside, what do people think my car would be worth as a private sale? I am toying with the idea of getting an L405 FFRR and have been offered disappointing values by dealers. My car is a 2011 61 plate SDV6, 43200 miles, blue with ivory leather, LR extended warranty until Oct 16 and a LR service pack until Oct 16 - next two services paid for. Range Rover - 4.4SDV8 Autobiography - Corris and Black
