Potential new owner...2011/2012 SC

So I am thinking about jumping into a 2011/12 SC and being new to the LR fold I have some questions:

1) What is the maintenance like on the SC range
2) What kind of fuel consumption should I be looking at (15% town, 80% cruise and 5% spirited)
3) What tuning mods are available (thinking ahead)
4) What are must have vs nice to have options
5) I have heard the TDV8 engine is a close contender. In the real world, is it
6) Anyone have any experience of the RRS SC vs ML63AMG vs X5M vs Cayenne Turbo vs Q7V12

I know these may be noddy but I need to get out of my crap heap and into somehting decent ASAP...!

I used to own a V10 Touareg (Stage2) and loved her, if the new Touareg came with a V10 option, that would be my direction...

Many thanks from a fast Audi driver.

England 2011 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Santorini Black

Welcome to site.
1) same across range £400/£600 for service from main dealer. Cheaper from non dealer.
2) town 10/13 motorway 17/20 mpg
3) not sure but why?
4) on the s/c they are fully loaded.
5) drive both but I think s/c is way more powerful but I could be bias.
6) don't know this one.
Always make sure it has FSH and get a warranty!
They are one hell of a beast and must be driven but most of all enjoy Thumbs Up MY11 Autobiography supercharged. Santorini Black. Monaco interior. Rear screens. Privacy.
Gone MY08 Supercharged HST. Java black. Ivory premium interior. Rear screens. Privacy. Missed a lot.
Gone MY04 Discovery V8 Petrol ES Premium. Awesome.
