Its a strong bottled cider that was popular in my days back in Newcastle ! Used to be on £1 a bottle special on Thursday nights, but it got mixed with a bottle of Castaway (potent pineapple drink (also £1 a bottle)) to make a pint of "Blastaway" !

Ah I see. My favourite tipple for inducing the worst hangover of all times is drinking straight Bundemberg rum (spelling?) - awful stuff, sorry to any Australians but this is the devil's liquid! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Bundaberg isn't it? Up in northern Queensland... I remember reading about it in the Australia Lonely Planet! Must be rocket fuel

Your right Shmoogle, down here it's known as Queensland diesel. You can get the stuff overproof as well if you're really keen! Somewhere around the 60% alc content |
