Dulux Paint - New Back End

With the HSE dynamic, don't like the grainy effect on the bumpers....so whilst maybe not to everyones taste, decided to get the AB look...skirts and corners painted.

Front now all gloss black

Rear - bumper matched to body (was going to do it all gloss black but was advised against it)

Enjoy the Bank Holiday weekend all.......

Looks nice, except for the bumper part around the exhausts, a little too much IMO. But otherwise very nice and a nice contrast with the black grilles. Thumbs Up Arrived: MY16 A/B SDV6 in Aruba, Ivory interior, piano black trim, black panoramic roof, spare wheel, blind spot monitoring, mudlaps and more... Twisted Evil

Gone but not forgotten:

Smile

I know what you mean about the exhausts, but the paint shop advised against the gloss underneath and I hated the black grain effect with the gloss effect on other parts of the car

I imagine, it will need another coat at some point once stone chips appear as mileage increases.....

Not your fault For trying to make it look better but I still wonder what LR were smoking when they designed that back end. It's not a good look.

Great colour and registration.

Ordered in that colour with the Stealth pack so mainly satin black bits. Also changed to an Autobiography to get the painted bits done.

I agree with the black or "black with chrome surround" lettering. Makes a massive difference on your car. MY2015 RRS SDV6 Autobiography Dynamic, Corris Grey, Santorini Black Roof, Ebony/Pimento interior, 22 inch Hawke Chayton

Wow - painting the black bits to body colour really highlights how Land Rover messed up that back end! Embarassed
