I have read a lot over the past few months about the LR security update, the problem with having front and rear LED lights and spare wheel stolen and the security measures people are taking to help prevent this. Obviously I don't expect to get details in an open thread, but now we are picking our 2011 RRS up next weekend I am very keen to get these security problems sorted

Would someone who is clued up on this, mind dropping me a pm with a few more detail please?

For the spare wheel you need a protector from RLD who is on this site. I think you can find him in the for sale section drop him a line with wheel size takes a few minutes to fit.

I'm looking for the same equipment as John. Just got my RRS and would not be a happy bloke to find my lights or spare wheel had been nicked.

As I can't watch it 24/7 (much as I'd like to as its lovely) I think a bit of preventative spending is in order

Would you be able to send me the info on how to get the kit as well please?

DR Rob, it had mats already (just added the boot one myself) but I'll definitely have a look under the bonnet tomorrow morning and check the breather layout, thanks for the info.

This is exactly the sort of thing I'm looking for really - hints and tips where a little prevention or TLC can increase the life of parts etc and reduce the cost of ownership a little - so thanks very much.
