Has anyone gone from the RRS to the Evoque?

Thoughts on them etc, she missus has decided she like them

I sold my evoque and bought a 09 rrs hse.
I likes my babyrr but is was a bit small when the 3th kid came.
So sold it, and frankly i don't mis it.

Ewok is let down by its engines. Diesel or Petrol, they sound like a bag of bolts. If it had a 6 , it could be quite a nice car. I think that will be the big let down for you leaving an RRS.

The newer version, post facelift with the Ingenium engine should be a better experience.

Other than the engine, my only issues with the Evoque is the poor visibility and the poor internal space considering how big the exterior is. If you just want it for two people plus stuff then it's not bad. If you plan to carry lots of people and stuff then it's probably a bit cramped. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

In my opinion it doesn't deserve the Range Rover badge

I sat in one last week, it was horrible. Current 2010 Range Rover Sport HSE with the usual toys: timed climate, Rosen headrest screens, tow bar with twin electrics, Blackvue HD cam

Why not? It's smaller than the Range Rover, granted, and it's built on a different platform using different parts too. But then the same applies to the RRS1 - it's actually a Discovery 3 Sport.

Thanks for the input, I'll go drive one. But it'll have to be good for me to change.
