bonnet Washer jet monkey BABOONS ripped out. HELP

Hi i have a rrs 2011 11 reg tdv6. my girlfriend as just got back from knowsley safari park with the kids, she thought it would be a good idea to drive through the baboons until they started ripping out both bonnet water jets with there teeth, she said it looked like pipes came out with both jets and some electrical cable. she also noticed the dab radio station went off, when she got back home one wire was still poking through the hole, looked like radio cable. we still have other dab channels capital extra works, but many are missing. please could someone help me fix this problem thank you. im well Censored off with her lol

yeah mate i am, only had the rrs for about 1 month. i found water jets on flee bay , but wondering why the dab as gone off or at least most of the stations. anyone have a helping hand fitting the water jets back to the bonnet and the tubing? anyone no how to rewire the dab aerial but still not sure if that is the cable what came out and there is 1 left. the wire where only a few inches long i think.

Mate the washer jets just clip back in and the water pipes just push in. Not sure about the electrical cables as they are heated but assume they have a plug attached. As for the DAB I can't see why that is affected. As the DAB Ariel is standard in the rear side windows and the dab module inside the boot.

It's clipped in with round black clips just remove them and the fabric will be able to be removed. Once removed you'll be able to see the cables Thumbs Up

I bet the next time the suns shines on your bonnet you'll notice a few new problems (scratches). I had the exact same problem when I took my last car through the baboon enclosure... I even tried spraying the washer fluid out to deter them but they seemed to like it and were drinking it!!! Shocked

I always go through the 'car friendly' route now, much to the kids dismay Wink

HI, this happened to me a few years ago at our local safari park, the little monkey decided to remove the wiper arm and blade off my Peugeot van Censored Upon his departure he turned and grinned at me, BUT, the temptation to resist the big juicy red apple through the 2" gap of the window was too much. He then decided to jump upon the door handle and reach inside the van to collect the apple. Upon presenting both arms in the top of the window would you believe the window raised Whistle and trapped the little devils arms. In such a panic I must have travelled 400yds before I could fined the button to lower away, thus resulting in cheetah sliding down the side of the van Whistle. He did run over to his buddies without the apple, a little disappointed I expect, poor little monkey !! Rolling with laughter 2007, HSE, Cairnes Blue, Factory tints, Love it !!!

Unfortunately I think the apes, monkeys etc have become so used to cars in the enclosures they have learnt the tricks which do damage.

I doubt anyone with any sense takes their car through.
