Hi guys my rrs window on drivers side has a few bubbles
Showing under the rubber,I'm planning on installing stainless steel covers to jazz down the sides up
Which just stick on.
Just wondering where I can get a replacement seal from for the window or could I remove the existing one and take out any
Corrosion so the bubbles lie flat ready for the covers to go on has they may not lie flat with the protuding bubbles

Hi Michael,

I have just replaced the window rubbers all round on mine which had bubbling under. This is caused by a steel strip inserted in the rubber to keep it straight and ridged etc. You cant repair them.

You can get them direct from LR parts, part number LCGE000860 £41.53ex VAT (for the drivers door).

The polished covers you said you wanted wont fit flat if you have bubbled weather strips (unless you use lots of silicone glue).

There might be, but I struggled to find somewhere myself so I ended up at LR - next day delivery on the up side!
