Mud Flaps Or Not ??

Just a simple one folks, is it worth fitting after market mud flaps or not. Cannot make my mind up on whether to buy a set off the bay or not, I just think they give it a bit more beef, any ideas ? Thumbs Up 2007, HSE, Cairnes Blue, Factory tints, Love it !!!

Its a matter of personal preference but I like 'em.

Hopefully they offer a bit of extra protection. The Land Rover parts are rumoured to last a bit better than the copy parts but some seem very happy with the eBay versions.

Fitting is stress free and less damaging to the car if you follow my little guide:

Always good to have a set on, as it really does help the rain & dirt splatters going all along the sides of the car.

I got a full set off EBay and also bought a genuine pair for my AB rear bumper and the after market ones were just as good, definitely need them to keep the dirt off Thumbs Up 2006 4.2 Supercharged Buckingham blue

The quality of the aftermarket mudflaps seemed pretty good, they fitted good with no problems and are still on my RRS and they look the part, comparing them to the genuine AB ones for my rear bumper there isn't much in it in terms of how they look Thumbs Up 2006 4.2 Supercharged Buckingham blue

They don't do them for the HST by all accounts, however, with a couple of holes drilled yourself, you can fit them. I've got the fronts fitted to my HST and will be fitting the rears as soon as I get a spare half hour. From holding them in place, it looks like 4 holes need to be drilled... one into the edge of bumper that forms the back of the wheel arch, 2 into the wheel arch liner, and one at the bottom underneath the bumper.

Cheers..

Ian

Looks like I am the odd one out here, mud flaps & side steps, I hate them both. Embarassed In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.
