Just a simple one folks, is it worth fitting after market mud flaps or not. Cannot make my mind up on whether to buy a set off the bay or not, I just think they give it a bit more beef, any ideas ? |

I got a full set off EBay and also bought a genuine pair for my AB rear bumper and the after market ones were just as good, definitely need them to keep the dirt off |

Thanks for the reply guys, good advice. That fitting guide is the "Dogs" if you don't mind me saying, no scratched paint or bear metal to start the rot off, + 1 |

The quality of the aftermarket mudflaps seemed pretty good, they fitted good with no problems and are still on my RRS and they look the part, comparing them to the genuine AB ones for my rear bumper there isn't much in it in terms of how they look |

I want to fit rear mudflaps on my 08 HST. will the standard flaps fit or do I need a specific type? |

They don't do them for the HST by all accounts, however, with a couple of holes drilled yourself, you can fit them. I've got the fronts fitted to my HST and will be fitting the rears as soon as I get a spare half hour. From holding them in place, it looks like 4 holes need to be drilled... one into the edge of bumper that forms the back of the wheel arch, 2 into the wheel arch liner, and one at the bottom underneath the bumper.

Looks like I am the odd one out here, mud flaps & side steps, I hate them both. |
