Parking Sensor - Loom / Fault

Parking Sensor Fault

As a new Range Rover Sport owner with a Supercharged First Edition (2005) I need some help with faulty front parking sensors...I know there are various threads on the forum about sensors but welcome some help Smile on these particular symptoms.

When going into reverse, as well as the rear audible aid noise the front sensor noise is also heard - as if there is an obstruction in front. Suggestion from local trusted garage who've sent it for some diagnostic check is that water has got into the loom and that 3 of the 4 front sensors are faulty...could work out how to replace sensors but worried about the loom issue???

Did have a problem with overflowing sunroof drain (now fixed!) so are there any parking aid loom connectors around the driver footwell area???

Suggestions please! Help Smile Thanks in advance.

If you take the front bumper off you can replace the pdc loom which connects the 4 sensors to the main loom. You can buy a new loom instead of trying to repair the old loom Thumbs Up 2006 4.2 Supercharged Buckingham blue

Thank you so much. So is it feasible water is in the loom somehow? Sounds like it's a bumper-off job!

Hi, yes bumper off, fairly straightforward to remove. The wiring can corrode due to water ingress. 2006 4.2 Supercharged Buckingham blue

Anyone have any ideas where I can source Pdc front loom for 2005RRS??

Also, any photos of the wiring behind the drivers kick panel outlining what the various plug connectors are. Still think there are some issues here???
