Does anybody know how you BUY a car from one of their "showroom" sites? There is a WBAC inspection site at the local Dobbies Garden Centre and they have a very nice looking Defender 90 TD5 Hard Top in among the cars they have taken in but there never seems to be any staff there and the 90 has been sat there for nearly a month whereas other cars have come and gone from the site. There is no mention on the WBAC website about how to buy from them - their parent company is British car Auctions so I assume that that is where most of the cars end up being sold. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

From memory, I think with a decent reason you can contact the DVLA with the reg and for a small fee they will tell you the registered keeper.

Tim, from what I remember from the last time I put my details in to get a valuation, it gives you the option to call the local branch to arrange a viewing, usually with a mobile number, might be worth doing, or ask at dobbies for a contact, they are bound to have one. Our local Asda has now got a portacabin and a selection of cars taking up half a dozen spaces, so looks like they have changed their business model slightly

I managed to catch two staff on the site this afternoon - the Defender had been taken off to BCA Glasgow yesterday evening when they had collected enough cars to justify a transporter to take them away. The sites at shopping centres and garden centres are solely for taking your car to for final physical inspection and valuing, they will not sell any car oof the site, they all go to the local BCA Auction centre for sale by auction. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
