Many years ago when Land Rover gave out lots of free Experience vouchers those that purchased S/C s and TDv8's were also sometimes offered a day on the Gaydon High Speed track with an instructor as they felt owners of the 4.2ltr S/C's and Tdv8's were more likely to drive very fast in their cars than they were likely to take them off road. Sadly it High Speed Driving days were not that well received and people preferred to go and get muddy instead! Unless you have an SVR, TDv8 or S/C then you might not be taken very seriously at the track...............

Instead of a track day, take it out and get it muddy at a pay-and-play site. You won't fit in any more or less than you will on a race track but at least it'll be doing what it does well. And instead of people laughing at you they'll end up being impressed... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
