When I sold my last one I rolled it up with a sheet of polythene around it and taped with brown sticky tape - no problems with the courier as the address label was well secured with brown tape too. Tim, have you tried contacting our forum sponsor MD Couriers? http://www.md-couriers.co.uk I've used them a couple of times for sending odd shaped bits and sets of wheels/ tyres around the UK? Their rates are resonable and they can collect from your house.
