LR Original or K&N Oil Filters?

Which would you use on a 4.2 petrol?

Fully agree with Disco Mikey, on a Diesel RRS they Censored up the MAF as the oil just gets onto what it shouldn't and becomes expensive regardless of their sales blurb, enough written about it on threads and in motoring magazines.
Even on modern petrol engines there is no way I would use them, stick to LR OEM, and they are cheaper. Very Happy John

K&N is a gimmicky farce in my opinion. I bought into the hype a long time ago and stopped buying their line of filters. Mine is a 5.0 supercharged and I use Mahle oil filters because they are just as good if not better than Mann which I beleive is the factory OEM brand. Either way don't waste your time or money on K&N oil OR air.

there are some interesting youtube videos from USA (well would be great if you lived in USA) where they opened up various oil/fuel filters to look at their performance and value for money
