Front Diff Pipe Vent Upgrade !!

Hi, just fitted my front diff vent pipe upgrade, 5 min job. The one I took off was solid as a rock, hopefully it has helped save the life of my diff, there was a slight smell of oil when I cut it off so something has been stuck in there, thanks for the tip boys Bow down 2007, HSE, Cairnes Blue, Factory tints, Love it !!!

Looks like something I'll be doing shortly along with changing the diff oil as LfW has just suggested too!

I've only just stumbled across these seemingly pretty important little preventative maintenance jobs by accident after reading your post... makes me wonder how many other similar things I'm blissfully unaware of!

Hi, yes this is the one, I think for what it costs its a must. The one I cut off was solid and certainly not venting the diff Thumbs Up 2007, HSE, Cairnes Blue, Factory tints, Love it !!!

bali Blue / colour coded
side steps / flappy paddles
black perforated leather
22" overfinch
heated everything, TV,fridge ...... now with gold calipers and mud flaps !( black mud flaps that is) !!
Many years ago,,,,, 1955 series 1 landie , sometimes wish I had kept it

Its only small and something you wouldn't even notice unless told, but worth the upgrade I would say Very Happy Thumbs Up 2007, HSE, Cairnes Blue, Factory tints, Love it !!!

Your right there, looking at the pics it appears to be a large ish pipe but in reality it's quite small, no wonder I never noticed it. ( sounds like something my wife would say) Laughing Laughing
