EGR Replacement TDV8

Being an ex marine engineer I have decided to replace mine rather than pay a garage 400 odd quid in labour. I realise there's a good couple of links on this subject, but it only deals with once you got to EGRs and can't find a manual on line.

Couple of questions if I may.

What actually has to be removed to gain access to them? Or is it a matter of just removing all in the way?
Will any other gaskets be req other than those supplied with valves?

Any form of help will be great. Thanks in advance.

Paul

PM me a real-world email address and I'll see if I can send you a couple of pdf from the workshop manual. You apparently need to remove the intake manifold plenum and the auxiliary battery box before you get to the EGRs. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
