Supercharged exhaust mod to hst tail pipes

Hi Guys,ive just got a hold of a genuine hst rear bumper and tail pipes for my 2005 supercharged rrs, problem is my s/c tail pipes are welded on, any idea if i can cut them off and will it leave enough length to slid the hst pipe on?
