Looking at that Phil, I'd agree with you. I can only assume they didn't have a set of SVR rims or 22" winters to hand over there. The 22" SVR Contisport 5s are 295/40R22. If we'd reduced the profile to 35, it would have resulted in a sidewall height of 103mm which is below LR specifications for rim impact protection, hence us sticking with a 40 profile. |

Very nice! Looking at the reflection of the vehicle next to yours in the side view shot, I'm wondering if the SVR is so hot it melts the alloys of any car that gets too close

DaveW, is there any prospect/would there be any benefit in Continental doing the 22" tyre design in 275/45R21?

Thank you, I certainly do need to do that (go off road), my Subaru was struggling on Thursday in the mud and driving rain.

I'm no expert but I think it's down to the 295 width of the tyres on the SVR's 22 inch wheels. Maybe the width of the tyres on other 22's is not enough to cause them to protrude outside the bodywork.

All RRS products on 22"s take the 275 width tyre, so no need for spats. The 295 is unique to SVR. |
