Sloshing fuel? Is that an experience others have had too? I'm coming out an x5 into a rrs and this is worrying me now! |

I think there is a fix were they push foam down into the tank to prevent the sloshing |

No idea what your X5 experience has been like - but get used to being 'worried' if you're getting in to a new RRS! Mine was back in the dealership five times within the first 2 months with issues like: misaligned O/S driver's & rear passenger doors, a bonnet that just would not stay closed on the N/S ("Ahhhh, this is your first Range Rover sir...? They all do that. It's a characteristic"), awful tyre roar from 22" wheels, steam-driven HD sat nat 'Infotainment System' (OP: Good luck with speeding that up!) and the cherry on the cake - a whacking great gap running the whole width of the boot between the top of the rear PU and the boot seal - clearly revealing wiring looms inside!! All good then! All this and -poor support from the dealership on discovering these 'issues'. I realise that you're not seeking advice here but if I had the chance again....I just wouldn't. Not even almost. MY14 RRS2, Corris, Pano, 50/50 Cirrus/Black leather, Meridien sound, 22" Style 6's, Bespoke Gap around tailgate. Porsche 911 (just left!) 1972 VW Bay Camper (cooled by the air alone!!) |
