United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Arctic Frost
Three months in and of it goes

I have had the brand new Autobiography now since the beginning of December and its off to the dealers for a bit of a list of jobs, of which i will post up on here and update if and when they get sorted, here is the list so far Sad

1. paint coming off on the rear bumper.
2. slow touch screen and controls.
3. low beam set to high.
4. EBA system error message on start up
5. fuel in tank sloshing
6. poorly fitted front seat covers and now they are looking areal mess.

I don't think thats too bad as it only cost £80K and its only done 3000 miles!

You got to love land Rovers!!! some of my Previous cars

I think there is a fix were they push foam down into the tank to prevent the sloshing

I'll be doing the same soon......

Four months in and as much as I love the car I am disappointed with the size of this list ....

1... Poorly fitted front and rear seats ... see my gallery
2... Arm top roll driver door . Foam padding has gone flat and looks dented
3.... Slow touch screen
4.... Fuel tank sloshing
5... Boot gap fix.....
6... Brake servo hose ... recall. may be LHD only which mine is !!!

7. check low beam high... getting flashed ... always !!

Andean what do you expect, its a British built product and a Landcover at that Rolling Eyes

I have had several LR cars and they have all been similar but you either love em or hate em, I have had other high end vehicles too, and they have all suffered with some sort of issues, admittedly not quite as many as the LR's have, but issues aside its still a superb motor.

Fuel tank sloshing has had a technical bulletin issued by LR so their is a fix for it!

and I keep being flashed too, but like you andman not in the manner I would like Whistle some of my Previous cars

No idea what your X5 experience has been like - but get used to being 'worried' if you're getting in to a new RRS! Mine was back in the dealership five times within the first 2 months with issues like: misaligned O/S driver's & rear passenger doors, a bonnet that just would not stay closed on the N/S ("Ahhhh, this is your first Range Rover sir...? They all do that. It's a characteristic"), awful tyre roar from 22" wheels, steam-driven HD sat nat 'Infotainment System' (OP: Good luck with speeding that up!) and the cherry on the cake - a whacking great gap running the whole width of the boot between the top of the rear PU and the boot seal - clearly revealing wiring looms inside!! All good then!

All this and Censored -poor support from the dealership on discovering these 'issues'.

I realise that you're not seeking advice here but if I had the chance again....I just wouldn't. Not even almost. MY14 RRS2, Corris, Pano, 50/50 Cirrus/Black leather, Meridien sound, 22" Style 6's, Bespoke Gap around tailgate.
Porsche 911 (just left!)
1972 VW Bay Camper (cooled by the air alone!!)

UPDATE.

Just picked up the car from the dealers, rear bumper repainted, and they have made a good job!

fuel tank been off and modification done, thats now quiet.

head lights done, but not tried yet

EBL light doesn't light up now.

Both front seat covers have been ordered and will be replaced, and with no arguments!

they did a software update and at the moment the infotainment screen does seem a little more responsive

Result Thumbs Up some of my Previous cars
