Basically, once it has recorded your driving style over a period of time (number of journeys, engine revs, throttle demand etc) it will then try to anticipate your driving style.

It is not an exact science but it does try to make the car more responsive to the driver inputs

HOw does it react if there are two drivers? Does it look for the seat memory setting or is it only able to pull from one set of parameters...Everyone in my house uses my Amazon profile (after all, I pay the bills) which ends up with some pretty schizophrenic recommendations. I would suspect the EMS would do the same unless it is linked to seat memory settings. 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE, Java/Ebony/Cherry, Privacy, Sunroof, PTI, Premium Sound, SatNav, Cold Climate, Tow kit, CarStyle coded grill and vents, Tasmods, Stormers, JE Exhaust, Autobiography badge

I'ts actually the gearbox ecu that adapts to your driving style....so in effect...the 'harder' you drive the quicker the gearbox will respond in order to meet your demands.
