It's sorted! A clean up with emery cloth & WD40 got it moving again.

Make sure that now you've used wd40 to clean off all the crud, that you use some grease to make sure it keeps moving. Otherwise you will have the same problem when trying to get it off again. It's a lot harder to get it off than put it on if it's gunked up. Bodsys Brake Bible
