I often try to work out what people mean when they comment on my RRS, it has been called everything from a JEEP, GAS GUZALING THING, A MONSTROSITY ! and I think once someone called it a Range Rover. What makes people tick ?? if anyone knows please help me on this one, or what name has yours being called. I'm sure we must all have a different model
as I've heard them called so many things....  2007, HSE, Cairnes Blue, Factory tints, Love it !!!

Monstrosity? Never heard someone call it that. Is it a Dudley thing? Most people just admire mine and say 'nice range rover'. Most people know its a Range Rover however I'm guessing from your neck of the woods theyre just jelous remarks  I'm not Fat. RRS TDV6 HST.

Most common comments/questions I've heard ... in this order:
1. Nice car!
2. What's the fuel consumption like?/How many miles does it do to a gallon?/Is it petrol or diesel?
3. What's the engine size?
4. How reliable is it?/I have heard they break down a lot.

Once a teenager (on a bike meant for a much younger kid) approached me in a supermarket car park after I had parked, complimented the car and demanded a pound "so he could look after it while I went shopping"  Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

I think many people who spout on about "Gas Guzzeling Earth Destroying 4x4s" really mean to say "you have what I want but can't afford, so out of spite I am going to try and spoil things for you"

Wow, people in the UK must be easily impressed.

An RRS at 10 years old is a cheap car (to buy) at around 12,000 - 14,000 quid. Here, no one bats an eyelid regardless of the car you drive.

I know a half Billionaire who drives a 2006 RRS 2.7 in Rimini because he likes the car. I know someone at work who earns average wages who bought an Audi RS5 by increasing his mortgage just to impress. Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

Yes a 10 year old RRS is the price of a new small family car. Most of us in the south are hard working people who have acheaved our dream to get a RRS. We dont hobnob with half Billionairs, no matter what they drive. You come across as a snob,looking down on anyone who is proud of their car. OK i think there are some people who have got their priorities wrong by remorgageing into masive dept just to impress. And i suppose you are living in an area with lots of Half Billionairs.
