United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey
Terrain Response and its development

I know that most RRS owners have no intention of using their vehicles away from tarmac but I thought some might find this interesting:

http://lr3tips.files.wordpress.com/2010/09...ficial.pdf

It's a paper that gives some background on the development of Terrain Response and how the various systems work together. It is, in my opinion, a useful starting point for those who might want to understand the capabilities of their extremely capable 4x4. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I am probably never going to take my RRS mud plugging as you say but still very interested in how it all works, particularly in snow & ice. This should probably be included in the owners' manual, may be as a separate supplement. Amazing what the different setting do, instructor on the LRE I did at weekend went through them and demonstrated them.

We used sand setting to blast down the road to clean mud out of tyres etc.

Be interested to know what a remap would do to these settings MY2011 TDV6 HSE Privacy Glass, Sunroof, TV, sidesteps, Hawke stainless tips - Now gone
