I thought the point of the spare wheel cover was to hide the spring and cable from sight?? |

That isn't the normal one. I got one from Disco3 site thT had an internal turret, so all you could see was a flat plate inside the wheel. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

Correct - that wont stop it going - the newer winch has sleeve over the spring also. I'd mod that if I was you otherwise they'll nick your protector and ebay that as well |

I agree with Peachy , I got mine from Ray, really quick turn round and fitted in minutes, no way anyone can get to the winch |
