Cyprus car duty to be abolished!!!

Woo-hoo!

Just had a bit of inside info!

Looks like Cypriot govt. are under pressure/forced with both arms up their back to abolish their ridiculous car duty (As discussed in great detail on this fine forum).

Rumour has it that it will fall in line with UK, but with lower starting prices for cars.

VAT will go up from 15% to 17.5% but that's not exactly a hardship.

Remember we went from 15% to 17.5% a few years ago... didn't really make any odds in real terms. Good news though, Super... means the second car doesn't have to be quite so Picanto-ish! Wink
