If you select the 4 x 4 info screen on the infotainment centre it will give you a small 'I' icon next to the mode selected this gives you a more in-depth description of the DSC ( or any other mode you've selected ) the Sport mode allows the gears to be changed quicker enabling acceleration - hope this helps

"Dynamic" special program sets up the suspension so that it is more responsive/active, ride becomes a bit stiff, less body roll as a result.

I certainly notice bad road surfaces and bumps more in dynamic mode. I feel the difference even when I pay only a little attention. Also, when driving fast on twisty roads, the car feels more under control with less body roll. How "dramatic" the difference is ... that's subjective IMHO and depends on how sensitive you are to changes in ride quality. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

^^^^ as above - don't use it very often but did today - ( when the mood takes ) solid & definitely more aggressive to drive - steering firm & suspension harder 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

yep I use a fair bit the dynamic setting. Always switch on on motorway exits so I don't have to slow down much...(!) but there is a marked difference between that and standard mode. |
