I didn't say there was anything wrong with it- in fact I agreed with it. The 'sadly' part was just because it's a lot less than I paid for it a year ago- when it was an 8 year old car, it's now a 9 year old car.

check on autotrader what the general asking price is. Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project.
DONE: Meduza front bumper, AB rear bumper, AB tailpipes, calipers repainted, rear upper tailgate upgrade, side steps, AB front grille, AB side vents, rear LED lights, clear side repeaters, integrated daytime running lights, LED headlights.
TO DO: color code sills and pillars.

Just done that mate- there's only one in the UK for less than 14k with 70k or less and that's an S spec.

i just sold mine for £10500 higher milage but fsh all common probs done, lots of expensive mods i lost 8k in one year with the cost of repairs etc a good lesson in listen to advise in that everyone told me landrovers were well......, its ok looking at the ones forsale but you can advertise at whatever price you like but selling its a different matter!

Blimey- thats not much. What was the mileage? The for sales prices are pretty much the only reference you can get- mines sold tonight with a 'for sale' note in the window.

Can you say if the price you got was anywhere near what you wanted/were expecting ?

In my, limited, experience when changing cars, iv'e found that changing after about a year is costly but, after 2 or 3 years losses are much smaller. And iv'e never got the value i'd like when part ex-ing , but always pay near top dollar

I was hoping for 15500 and ended up with 15 and gave him the last 4 months of my warranty. Still, my biggest loss in 30 years of driving with maintenance etc. I absolutely adored it but I, personally, don't think it justified the expense.
