It is the release handle under number plate shroud,behind rubber cover. The alloy hinge type thing that pushes the micro switch gets corroded and sticks. If you clean this part and give it a good dose of WD40 it will be fine. I did mine 2 years ago and it is still fine. Otther option is a new complete switch about £25/£30 and easy t do. itisme |

Hi Mikey I see by your link there is a switch on Ebay for £19.99 Free Pstage From Islelandrover Doncaster. I have used them before when my LED Rearlight Cluster was stolen. They are very cheap £178 for the light,was delivered next day itisme |
