Australia 2013 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 SE Fuji White

Hi Garry,
I am sure an expert will be along to further clarify this, this quote is from LR during the release of the RRS in 2006:

"An automatic protection sequence takes place in the event of a crash. This includes instant shut-down of the engine and fuel system and operation of the hazard warning system to warn other road users. All the interior lights are activated and all doors are automatically unlocked."

Just went out and had a look at mine and the battery terminal is connected to a moulded box about 5 cm by 5 cm by 1 cm with the lead to the starter out of one side and the lead to the main fuse box bus out the other. A low current wire also is attached which I presume is the trigger wire for the pyrotechnic device.
Clearly as the hazard warning operates all power is not cut.
There is no way that the battery connector looks anything like a standard terminal.
Interesting to find out what actually happens.
