Winter tyres - Pirelli or General?

Hi all, looking for some advice, this is my first winter with my RRS an trying to decide on some winter tyres.

I have previously had scorpion ice and snows on previous 4x4's which i couldnt fault however i have been offered general snow grabbers apparently a fairly new tyre???

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the general snow grabbers as they are about 100£ cheaper per tyre!!

2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Java Black

I'm running with Nokian SUV3 this year. They are so quiet, comfortable and pointy. I'm very impressed so far, can't really report on ice yet as we haven't had any. My MPG has gone up to 32 now though!

Just had some 19's fitted with these and can also agree on your comments Somerset Bumpkin 2013 HSE Black Edition, Orkney Grey, Ivory Trim, Exterior design Pack and Privacy glass
