Just joined the forum - was a member many years ago when we had a Disco 3 HSE and remember it being a great place for information and a friendly forum to converse in.

I have been searching for a RRS 3.6 TDV8 HST - ideally a factory HST but would also consider an aftermarket HST. Must be in excellent condition and not too silly miles on the clock. Full service history and ideally main dealer.

I am very keen on forum member Hunters RRS HST but I don't know how to get hold of him other than send him a PM - so if anyone has a contact number or email address for him I would be grateful to know and/or send him my details - I know he works on the rigs so not sure when he is back?

no worries mate. I wanted that myself i think its a cracking motor but had to get a petrol as i only do about 3000 miles a year. I got a 4.2 in the end as it was low miles. over time it will look like his hopefully

I love the SC but just couldn't warrant the petrol bill on the miles i do and my rather over enthusiastic right foot!!

they are not to bad on fuel to be honest on a cruise. maybe 23-25 mpg as i found out last weekend. they are terrible round town and accelerating though. maybe 10-12. i will only do 50 miles a week maximum with the exception of the odd weekend away so its only £20-30. i couldn't afford to run it as my everyday car. well i could but i would have no beer tokens left

TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
