Lights

Hi, got a 2007 RRS TDV8. The head lights don't seem very bright. Is this normal for RRS?

If the bulbs are originals then they will be dimmer than you'd think they should be. I found replacing the halogen fill in bulb with a new one made a difference. My xenon and halogen bulbs are now all higher output versions. Just put some of these in:

and been happy with them so far. My xenons were starting to get tired - there is a definite bloom on the old bulbs. My halogens are Osram nightbreaker H7 and they made a noticeable difference when they went in a couple of yeas ago.

Oh, and check that your headlight washers are working properly. Grime on the headlight covers makes a huge difference even if it looks fairly innocuous. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
