In Control WiFi problem?

Took delivery of my new RRS on Saturday. The handover went fine until the salesman tried to connect my iPhone and then his iPhone to the InControl WiFi without success. We tried several times to join the network but the password was rejected every time. Any idea what we were doing wrong?

Is there a SIM loaded? If not, maybe it won't let a device connect until there is (as not point without).

Er no, we didn't load a SIM, in fact the salesman couldn't even find where the SIM should be located. What size of SIM card is used?
