Can somebody please advise on the best pads to replace the existing (Ferodo?) on a standard diesel HSE? Im not sure if EBC manufacture any compatible greenstuff options, and been advised Mintex are a vastly superior choice? Also, do grooved (& drilled?) discs help and where can they be obtained (USA?). Anything must be better than the wooly originals!!! Thanks fellas. |

No, not yet. It would be extremely expensive to change to Brembo calipers, discs, pads, boosters, lines, etc, and thought upgraded pads and/or discs might be worth a try first? Ive read several RRSport reviews on Brembo with mixed outcomes so Im not entirely sure it's worth it. This is only for routine stop-start road use, not high performance, so there must be some low-budget options. The present factory combination is NOT good. Your thoughs please? Thanks! |

Here is an excellent resource, and I speak with many years experience of Bob Green with both high-performance road cars and racing sports cars

Thanks for the advice. Im sure Brembo aren't wooly, just the standard diesel set-up which has smaller discs, less-effective calipers and Ferodo pads. Im just looking to sharpen-up the response without spending a fortune and hoped that different pads might do it?? |
