HELLO , help me, please

Hello guys,

I am thinking to buy the new RRS td model. I test the car for 7days,
and I really like the car. The car is really expensive, but it´s really
true about quality and prestige. I have a question , and I would like
have your help , please.
1. I wonder if the engine are a good motor, or give to the owners
some problems?.
2. The time that I drive the car I see than the car drink so much
diesel petrol. Are you agree ?

Thank you very much for your help.

Malaysia 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Chawton White

Welcome franGC.

1. I don't remember much complaints on the engines... . I would say that would be the least of your problems.

2. Diesel consumption would be reasonable I guess, unless you have your eye on the Supercharged! Cool

Overall, these two topics are the least talked about so you should be safe... go ahead and place your order now! Wink Wink Malaysia Boleh!

Welcome FranGC - Bobby's right. No issue with the engines and if 23mpg on a diesel is too thirsty for you may I suggest you are looking at the wrong car. When you talk about the motor I presume you mean the whole package. The early RRS's had their problems but the more recent ones seem to be much better, saying this in general the problems were not great. There have been issues with poor paintwork so check the car if you buy it. Look through the forum and see the common issues but remember people tend not to post positive thinhgs only problems on forums so don't think this car is beset with faults. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

VA he is more into litres than in gallons - i translate for him - the car uses like 14 litre/100km Diesel when you push it otherwise its like 12 l/100Km in standard use - dont forget franGC its a heavy car Smile and on your islands there it would be great to go OFF-Road with it Smile

And a good quality engine management upgrade would probably give you an additional 5-8% extra fuel economy in the diesel engine Smile
