Rear seat belt buckle may tear your leather. New Pic

My one journey with the rear seats down carrying a load ,left a nasty 3 inch indentation in my rear seat

The Drivers side rear seat belt buckle on my car stands very proud....

It is supposed to recess down into a pocket in the seat to avoid damaging the leather when the rear seats are folded down for

loading. The other two buckles on the rear seat recess correctly.

I had a look at two other RRS's today and they were exactly the same... standing proud.

If you put your seats down regularly and even more so if you are carrying heavy loads on the back of those rear seats..

It's only a matter of time before the leather on the upright of the seat will deform badly or at worst tear...

My dealer took the cover off and cut away the foam to allow the buckle to sit flush.... and has done a great job...

Check your buckles guys... you've been warned... another LR over sight....

This pic is how the buckle sat before....
