Accessories - Discounts

Having spoken to my two nearest dealers in order to get prices for the accessories I want on the car (Just rubber mats, mudlfaps, phone cradle and seat covers for the time being) they were both willing to shave off 10% off the total price.

In case you had not yet asked, it's worth it! Better than nothing considering the reluctance to give away anything with the car Evil or Very Mad L319 D4 HSE

When I went to get some mudflaps recently, my local dealer offered 10% without me asking - because I brought the car from them. Yet when I got the rubber mats and boot liner with the car, they charged me full price! Matt

Jersey 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Cairns Blue

I paid full price for a set of mud flaps, interior carpet mats & loadspace mat.

I had the mud flaps fitted free but have been told that there may be a long wait for the interior mats as LR have run out!

Apparantly they make the carpet mats in Ebony & Aspen only and everyone wants Ebony. RRS 2.7 TDV6 SE Cairns Blue/Alpaca Leather

I too have had to pay full price for Carpet Mats, loadspace cover & sill covers...... and when I pick it up in the next few days ... I will have to head straight to the pumps to fill it up Shocked

Poor is'nt it !

But, as we all want one & supply / demand always dictates price. I am sure that like most other LR products it wont be long before over supply & inflated fuel prices will force discounts.

That makes me think I should have bought a Smart car or bicycle Mad

Just to upset the apple cart, I got my mats thrown in for free and a tank of diesel. That said, I got no money off the price of the car at all....

Talking of which, it should be pulling into my driveway in about 30 mins if the delivery driver hasn't got lost on the way! Rolling Eyes

Cheers

VERY VERY nice

I love seeing brand new cars...does it smell nice inside, of the leather and newness? I like the little tag hanging off the passenger seat headrest...what does it say?

Do you have any upgrade plans for it like most others such as wheels, grilles etc?

Ooh, I just got a tingle of excitement at the thought of finally getting mine in just over a week's time!! Very Happy Laughing Cool Knowing what I am like I'll be taking about 5000 pictures on the first day... Shocked

Presumably you won't be answering this for a while cos you'll be out driving it!

PS: Nice looking place you live, is that a shared garage or all yours? Looks like it holds about 5-6 cars in there. L319 D4 HSE

It's the leather care guide... says stuff like don't let your 15-month old near it, ensure wifes shoes are kept off it all times - that kind of thing Wink

Yeah, definitely... well, read my quandary over in the My RRS section... I'm already in for the s/c front/side grilles. Will be looking to move to 20s in the near future. The sidesteps also look pretty nice actually, but I'd like to see a few more pics and/or "live" examples before going for that.

And I bet that'll be the longest week of your life! It was mine - but then it arrives and it's funny how everything else that you were doing at the time all becomes a distant memory! It's great! Very Happy

Yep, been out and taken it for a few spins - I need to settle down with the manuals tonight and get a good idea of how it all works! I found the indicators and mirror adjustments without too many problems Wink

Thanks! It is a nice little place - unfortunately not all mine! It's a fairly new development of houses that all share that block of barn-type garages that you can see in the background. We get a couple of spaces each.

Cheers
