[HELP-BUYING CAR] RANGE ROVER SPORT VS DISCOVERY 3

Hi,
i would buy Range Rover Sport 2006/2007 or discovery 3 2006/2007
What are the main differences between those 2 cars?
I’ve seen those online offers, which car do you suggest me?

1) http://www.autoscout24.it/Details.aspx?id=258878082&asrc=st|as
I’ve seen it, 4 owners before me, last check up on 2010. It needs new check up and suspension refill. Price 10.000 €

2) http://www.autoscout24.it/Details.aspx?id=260111396&asrc=st|as
I’ve to see it: tyres to be changed. Price 11.500 €

3) http://www.autoscout24.it/Details.aspx?id=260560502&asrc=st|sr,as
Price 13.999 €

4) http://www.autoscout24.it/Details.aspx?id=259478042&asrc=st|sr,as
Price 13.500 €, but it seem not to be SE, but S. Can you confirm?

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Cairns Blue

There are huge differences inside the car but underneath they are the same components.
If you want luxury and comfort go for the sport, if you need 7 seats and more internal space then go for Disco. Both suffer the same sort of faults and costs so it really is buyers choice. Good luck in your quest. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜

More space only for cargo or also for people?

What offer do you prefer 1,2,3 or 4?

For my peneth, I got a 2007 TDV8 a few months back and I had the suspension compressor done on warranty (I knew it was going when I bought it and used it to haggle) Anyway, when I dropped it in to get work done I had asked about how many they do and it is a common issue, however they did point out they do far repairs etc on Discos than they do RRS' - they're opinion was to avoid the Disco's.

They had nothing to gain from this info, but that's just what I heard.

Good luck with whatever you do get and I suggest a warranty. I got AA Warranty and they paid out no probs for suspenison

Think warranty companies might dispute that claim. The most common claim is for M3 followed by Sport according to Warreny Direct, Disco is in mid teens and surprisingly Fullfat is 29. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

My point was that the Land Rover Dealer which did my warranty claim said they do more Discos than RRS'. It was a comparison between the two vehicles at that dealer only and not related to warranty claims per-se

If you want a useful boot go for the disco.

I've never driven a disco but they say they don't handle as well as the sport.
